It should come as no surprise that the Splendor tops the list as the biggest seller in this category. It is the bike that defined Hero MotoCorp, and in over 20 years of its production, more than 11 million units have found happy homes throughout the country. The secret for its success is a combination of factors – simple and rugged design, a super-efficient engine, low cost of maintenance, and most importantly, Hero’s stellar dealership and service network.

Like its erstwhile stable-mate, the CD100, the Splendor too is a bike where you ‘fill it, shut it, and forget it’, thanks to its excellent mileage figures and a sufficiently large fuel tank, which ensures you’d ride for atleast 700 kms between fill-ups. This helped the bike put Hero on the map to becoming India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer.

5 years agolove the bike look and it's colour, mileage is good, never had trouble in riding bike, servicing and maintenance is good. Very comfortable, i love it. I get call on time for my bike service reminder. Front head light focus is little dull, when we are in the traffic at night, otherwise good in the other places.
