The Royal Enfield Continental GT is the lightest, fastest, most powerful Royal Enfield in production.
The Royal Enfield Continental GT is the lightest, fastest, most powerful Royal Enfield in production. It’s a machine with a story, a nod to motorcycling’s finest hour; a painstaking collaboration. It is also the best expression yet of a cultural phenomenon that has simply refused to fade away – the café racer.
The Continental GT gets the UCE engine from the Classic 500 which has been re-bored for an increased capacity of 535cc. This engine churns out 29.1bhp of power and 44Nm torque. The 535cc motorcycle gets brembo disc brake in the front and bybre disc at the rear which gives it more than enough stopping power. The machine also gets a remapped ECU and Paioli suspension. The Continental GT is available in two shades GT Red, GT Black and GT Yellow.
The Continental GT is the fastest and lightest single-seater motorcycle from the Royal Enfield and is being rolled out from the company’s new facility at Oragadam near Chennai.
The Royal Enfield Continental GT is priced at Rs 2.05 lakh (on-road Delhi) and Rs 2.14 lakh (on-road Mumbai). The production capacity of this motorcycle will be lower than rest of the range, but with steep price so will the demand.
